Jasmine Rene' Williams a.k.a Fashion C.E.O, is a 30 year old Fashion Designer from Cleveland Ohio. She has obtained her Bachelors of Arts degree from The Shannon Rodgers and Jerry Silverman School of Fashion Design and Merchandising at Kent State University in August of 2012.
Jasmine Rene’ has aspired to become a fashion designer since the age of 9 and has pursued her dream ever since. She began taking fashion courses in her primary education and has further embarked on her passion for fashion throughout her college career. In 2008 she created a clothing line called Intrendzick Couture. It is pronounced (In-Trin-Sic, Co-Tour). In 2016 She rebranded her line and renamed it after herself ( Jasmine Rene LLC). Jasmine Rene is a women's apparel brand whose mission is to; "Convey Self-Confidence Beauty and Personal style."
Jasmine Rene' debuted her first collection in a fashion show given by a student minority organization in the Kent State University Ballroom in 2008. Since then she has been a part of over 27 local fashion show events in her community as well as in Cleveland, Beachwood, Kent, Solon, Akron, and Toledo Ohio. Jasmine Rene’ has won two fashion show competitions at her university within the same week and has been featured in college newspapers, local fashion blogs and fashion publications including, Uhuru magazine, Lady Millennium and collegefashionista.com. She has also had the opportunity to be a featured designer live on Fox 8 News’s “kicking it with Kenny Crumpton”.
During her college career, she has also had the chance to influence her fashionable taste on her peers and incorporate her design visions by becoming the creative design chair for Modista fashion minority group as well as head of the design team for exquisite in modeling troupe, some of the fashion student organizations at KSU. Jasmine Rene’ seized the great opportunity to study abroad at Kent State Fashion School in Florence, Italy in 2010. She was also able to travel to some of the fashion capitals of the world. She noted, “The experience helped her gain an optimistic point of view about the fashion industry and helped her realized that it’s possible to reach a market,not just locally but internationally”. She is very humble about her work and loves to express her love of fashion through her innovative designs.
In the summer of 2012 she has had the opportunity to complete dual internships with Perry Ellis International and Manchu Times Fashion in New York City. Her experience has allowed her to gain in-depth knowledge of the business side of the fashion industry and has given her further motivation to continue in her own design endeavors.
Jasmine Rene’s work from her Spring 2012 Collection is featured in the 4th Edition of Emerging Fashion Designers. A textbook published by Schiffer Publishing, Ltd. Schiffer Publishing has over 3,400 titles in print, which are sold in bookstores and specialty shops throughout the United States, Britain, Italy, and Japan, as well as through online retailers. There were only 80 designers chosen to showcase their work out of all the fashion students from fashion programs across the United States. The purpose of the book is to give recognition and highlight the new wave of fashion designers who are currently entering the fashion industry. Jasmine Rene’ was one of the most promising young designers chosen by the president of Kent States Fashion School to be featured in this publication.
IC Fashion Studio was opened for business in August of 2013, which was the corporate studio office for Intrendzick Couture LLC (Now Jasmine Rene LLC). Jasmine Rene’ is the head designer and C.E.O. Her duties include researching, sourcing, brand marketing, advertising, sketching, designing and sewing for the company. The company specializes in custom fashion designs for any occassion as well as alterations.
In 2015 Jasmine Rene' had the opportunity to showcase her 2016 Spring /Summer Collection during New York Fashion Week. She attended Small Boutique Fashion Week and selected models from all over the united states to model her collection. The show was held at the Metropolitan Pavillion which hosted a number of other fashion designers as well as vendors, fashion bloggers, magazine publicist and industry insiders. Jasmine had a 10 peice collection which displayed an array of garments from mix and match separates, and flowy flirty dresses to stunning evening wear. She recieved a standing ovation for her runway collection and gain great networking experience from the opportunity.
On October 21, 2017 , Jasmine Rene Studio was lunched in Cleveland Heights Ohio. It is an all inclusive Fashion Studio and Beauty Bar, where clients can come and get their garments custom made, as well as their hair and makeup done in one place!
